Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute plays a role in producing Huffaz Al-Qur'an, who are not only skilled in memorising the holy verses of Al-Qur'an, but also have the potential to venture into the fields of Islamic Studies, Science and Technology. To introduce the institution to the public, the Institute's Open Day was held on 9th July morning.

The Open Day was launched by Awang Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. It includes several briefing sessions and exhibitions, activities and mini bazaar sales. The 2-day event is held in conjunction with the recruitment of new Year 7 students. Meanwhile, the offer form for the recruitment of new Year 7 students for the 2026 study session is still open until 2nd August 2025.
